Help Honor Yon Landi’s Legacy

Yon Landi has been part of our Wendy’s family for as long as many of us can remember. His mother, Maria, has worked for Wendy’s for over 20 years, and many of us watched Yon grow up right alongside her—first as a boy visiting the restaurant, and later as a dedicated manager himself, full of heart and purpose.

From a young age, Yon faced the unimaginable battling brain tumors that later developed into brain cancer. Over the past two years, he bravely underwent multiple surgeries to remove tumors. Despite being sent home on hospice, Yon’s incredible strength, faith, and the unwavering support of his mother helped him make a miraculous recovery. In true Yon fashion, he returned to the work he loved, managing at Wendy’s with the same passion, dedication, and smile that inspired everyone around him.

Unfortunately, the cancer has returned and this time, it has spread throughout his body.

Yon unfortunately took his last breath April 24th.

He fought so hard to the very end.

This fundraiser is being created to support Maria during this incredibly difficult time. Yon has shown nothing but strength, resilience, and love throughout his journey. Now, we ask for your help in honoring his life and legacy with the dignity and peace he deserves.

All funds raised will go directly toward Yon’s funeral expenses, to ease the financial burden on Maria and allow her to focus on spending these precious moments with her son.
