In life and in love, my mother Yolanda Plascencia is and forever will be the epitome of a great woman, wife, mother and person. As many of you may know, my mother has fought against Breast Cancer with courage, dignity, bravery and strength beyond words. Unfortunately, her fight with stage 4 breast cancer has come to an end as her disease prepares to take her from this world and into her new journey to the eternal kingdom of god and faith everlasting in the coming hours.
Our mother even in her last days always worried about others and ensured that no one was ever without. She was not only mother to us, but a mother figure to more men and woman than we can account for. She was a confidant, a friend, an inspiration and our hero. There was no goal too high or task too small for her to reach and accomplish. The life that she lived is one of happiness and bravery and the definition of facing the greatest challenge without fear or apprehension until the end.
It is during this time and with her condition having drastically changed and getting closer to taking her from us so suddenly that we come to you humbly as friends, family and loved ones to ask for any and all assistance during a time in which we know many are going through financial hardship. These funds would go strictly towards helping to fund her funeral services and all after life arrangements. Any and all help is loved, respected and appreciated. We do not and would not ask for more than we need to cover these expenses and although we cannot have all of her loved ones, friends and family present due to the safety and well-being of others during this pandemic, we would like to extend the opportunity to share with us an email through which you can see and be a part of the service and sharing your respects digitally. I know this is not ideal or what we would want for such a loved human being, but to ensure safety and family a position at her side this is the best we can do and please know it hurts us greatly.
