Hola a todos,
Nos unimos como una sola familia para apoyar a nuestra amiga, Oyuky, que perdió a su madre el pasado fin de semana.
El 21 de junio, Oyuky recibió una llamada telefónica de su madre informándole que había dado positivo por Covid-19. La madre de Oyuky vivía en Missouri con las dos hermanas menores de Oyuky: jocelyn, de 13 años y Evelyn, de 15 y con su esposo, Homero. Por teléfono, la madre de Oyuky, Yolanda, sonaba fuerte y quería que su hija no se preocupara por nada.
Dos días después, su hermana menor, Evelyn, llamó a Oyuky para decirle que a su madre le costaba mucho respirar y que la tuvieron que llevar al hospital, así como a su hermana menor, Jocelyn. Como lo haría una hermana mayor, Oyuky no dudó en subirse a un avión al día siguiente para cuidar a su hermana menor, Jocelyn, mientras su madre intentaba recuperarse en el hospital.
Durante 3 semanas, Yolanda luchó duro contra covid-19, pero el 12 de julio la hermosa guerrera de Oyuky, Evelyn, Jocelyn, y Homero, se fue a casa con el Señor.
La vida de Yolanda es una de fe. Ella nunca dejó de creer que Dios traería rompimiento para ella y la vida de su familia. Ella era una verdadera mujer de fe, su vida representa lo que 2 Timoteo 4:7 dice: "He peleado la buena batalla, he acabado la carrera, he guardado la fe." Yolanda deja un mayor legado en esta tierra que el dinero, la riqueza y la fama. Ella deja el legado de sus hijos; tres hermosas hijas que pelearon la buena batalla de la fe luchando por la vida de su madre tal como su madre les enseñó a hacer. Ella le enseñó a su familia a nunca flaquear en su fe. Peleaban todos los días y continuarán haciéndolo como su madre les enseñó. El legado que les dejó es el del amor. Yolanda solo tenía amor para dar y lo compartió con todos los que la rodearon sin dudarlo. Cualquiera que la conozca le dirá que amaba sobre todas las cosas. No importaba quién eras, si ella podía ayudarte de alguna manera y mostrarte el amor de Dios, eso es exactamente lo que hacía.
Hoy le pedimos su ayuda para contribuir con lo que pueda para que la familia pueda cubrir todos los gastos imprevistos que ahora enfrentan. Cualquier cantidad que pueda dar será de ayuda para esta familia que enfrenta lo que ninguna familia debería enfrentar. Hello everyone,
We are uniting as one family to support our friend, Oyuky, who lost her mother this past weekend.
On June 21st, Oyuky received a phone call from her mom letting her know that she had tested positive for Covid-19. Oyuky’s mom lived in Missouri with Oyuky’s two younger sisters--jocelyn, 13 and Evelyn, 15 and her husband. Over the phone, Oyuky’s mom, Yolanda, sounded strong and wanted her daughter not to worry about a thing.
Two days later, her younger sister Evelyn called Oyuky to say that her mom was having a very hard time breathing and had to be taken to the hospital as well as her younger sister, Jocelyn. As a loving older sister would, Oyuky did not hesitate to get on a plane the next day to take care of her younger sister Jocelyn while her mom was trying to recuperate at the hospital.
For 3 weeks Yolanda fought hard against covid-19 but on July 12th their beautiful warrior went to be home.
Yolanda’s life is one of faith. She has never stopped believing that God would bring breakthrough to her and her family’s life. She was a true woman of faith, her life represents what 2 Timothy 4:7 says: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Yolanda leaves a greater legacy on this earth than money, riches, and fame. She leaves the legacy of her children; three beautiful daughters that fought the good fight of faith contending for her mother’s life just as their mom taught them. She taught her family to never waver in their faith. They fought everyday and will continue to do so as their mom taught them to do. The legacy she left to them is that of love. Yolanda had an abundance of love that she shared with all those that surrounded her with no hesitation. Anyone who met her will tell you that she loved above all things. It didn't matter who you were, if she could help you somehow and show you the love of God, that is exactly what she did.
Today we ask for your help in contributing whatever you can so that the family may cover all the unforeseen expenses they are now facing. Whatever amount you can give will be of help to this family who is facing what no family should face. We thank you for your continued support in prayers and any financial support you can provide to the family.
