Yolanda Ramos’ Funeral

Family and Friends,
As many of you already know, my beloved mother, Yolanda (Jolie) Ramos, has passed after four months of battling lung cancer that had metastasized to her brain.
In May of this year (2019), she was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Although the news was devastating, Jolie kept her usual humor and high spirits. In June, she was admitted into the hospital for dizziness due to bleeding tumors in her brain and had been in the hospital until she was moved to hospice where she spent the last moments of her life. Throughout it all, she was her usual joking self and always had a great attitude. Jolie was truly at peace with her life and with God.
Her funeral will be in Staten Island, and I hope to ask for your assistance to help cover the costs. Our goal is $8,000 which will cover all funeral costs. Any extra donations collected will be given to HOPE Worldwide, which is a non-profit dedicated to bringing aid to those in need around the world.
