There is nothing that can describe the pain of losing a loved one, but losing two in the same day is just unreal and unbareable. Two beautiful souls were taken from our family saturday morning after a fatal car accident. We are still in disbelief and want this to be a horrible nightmare that we all wake up from! Nothing can prepare us for this tremendous loss of our loved ones. We are still trying to grasp our new reality.
At this time our family is filled with grief, pain, sadness, anger, confusion. Heartbroken is an understatement! There are no words that can describe the void our family is feeling. These two beautiful souls were taken from us way to soon. We know that this was not gods doing.
Our aunt had so much still to do here with us, she was just beginning to find herself after losing our uncle Robert. She was keeping his spirit alive in everything that she did. My uncle Arnold was ready to hit the ground running and anxious to live out his second chance with our family. So much was waiting for both and nothing was going to stop them. God definitely had different plans for them and although we will never understand why he felt that he needed them more than we did, we can only find comfort in knowing that they are now both with our loved ones in heaven. (Grandma Carmen, Grandpa Nick and our uncle Robert, aunt Millie).
Auntie Yolanda we loved you more than you will ever know, you were so strong and feisty yet so loveable and caring. You brought so much happiness to everyone who crossed your path.
Uncle Arnold, you were always our amazingly beautiful uncle that we all looked up too regardless of the distance because you always spoke from your heart. Your words of encouragement made any situation feel as if it were just another day that would pass to the next, with positive outcomes. You are both free now, free of pain, free of hurt, free to spread your wings and watch over our family during this unspeakable time. Continue to create beauty where ever you may go. Your smiles and laughter will forever be missed. You will never be far from our thoughts, heart and soul.
Our family is now left with the diffuculty of preparing to send our beautiful souls home. We ask that any donations, big or small that you can contribute towards the services of our aunt Yolanda, will be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements will be scheduled tomorrow (Tuesday Sept 26th) with more details to follow. All donations will go to the services of our aunt Yolandas final resting place.
