Yolanda Austin-Carr Memorial Fund
Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we share with you the loss of heavens newest angel, Yolanda Austin-Carr. After a long and hard-fought battle with breast cancer, and with her loving family at her side, Yolanda passed peacefully on August 28th, 2023.
While this loss for our family seems unbearable, we are thankful to have been so blessed with her presence for the short time that we had her with us here on earth.
Anyone who ever had the pleasure of knowing her and loving her, knows that she was a force to be reckoned with. She lit up every room she walked into with her beautiful smile, and her light shined so bright to share her love with everyone. She was fiercely loyal, and the best mom, grandma, sister, auntie, and best friend to us all. The family she was given, and her chosen family were her world! Yolanda always made it a point to recognize and welcome everyone with open arms, and without judgement. She not only raised her own children and grandchildren, but she adopted and cared for so many others along the way, and took them under her wings. This world for us will truly not be the same without her.
At this time, our family asks for your prayers, and for ample time to grieve this tremendous loss. I have created this campaign in hopes of assisting her children (my cousins), Liz, Stephanie and Johnny with the funds that are needed to provide Yolanda with her final services, and with the ever-growing expenses that go along with providing Yolanda with the end of life care that she needed over the last few months. If you can find it in your heart to donate to this fund, our family would deeply appreciate it. If you do not have the means, please do not feel obligated. A simple prayer, or a share will do.
With Love,
Jennie Austin-Terrazas on behalf of the Austin Family
