Yokai’s FIP treatment ❤️

When my mom called me from her vets office to tell me about a rescue kitten named “slate” that was up for adoption, I didn’t realize then how much of bond I was about to make with a feline. After taking him home, giving him an appropriate name to match his brother “Bonsai”, Yokai quickly became my best buddy, helping relieve the sometimes lonely postpartum days I was experiencing at the time. We love to snuggle babies together (he likes them better when they’re sleeping.) I’ve watched him grow with my youngest, they were born just one month between each other. 
He fell ill the second week of January. His vet initially thought we were potentially dealing with Toxoplasmosis. After bloodwork, we confirmed an FIP diagnosis on the 11th. We had our suspicions, though, and with help of FIP warriors started treatment right away. Yokai is doing wonderfully, but, the medication he needs to continue treatment isn’t covered by pet insurance. It’s very expensive. Yokai is just 17 months old. He deserves this chance at life, and I’ll do just about anything to give it to him. Please consider donating to his treatment and future diagnostics. I will update everyone along his journey.
