Yohann Anderson: Doing Well in 2024! (updated Nov '24)

As of November 2024 Yohann is doing well. Since 2022 he has had housing in Marin County and is doing well. He can still use help as he does not have a good guitar as his was stolen. He has a guitar to "get by" but it's not the kind he excels in playing.. he continues to need help with his dental issues and does not have a car.

In general he says his spirits are good and he is so grateful to each of you for your support!

As of 2023 Yohann is doing well! He has excellent housing and has received medical care. He will continue to need your love and support.

Yohann Anderson - God's own minstrel is homeless and needs medical care.

Q: What do you say when people ask why you are homeless?

A: “I trusted the wrong people. All my savings and my house were taken from me.”

Q: Who is Yohann Anderson?

A: “I’ve been a youth minister since I was 24 and now I’m 83. I am a 24 year old Youth Minister in an 83 year old body! 

I served 30 years for Young Life then I did Music and Ministry at Tiburon Community Congregational Church and Communitas Christi in San Anselmo, Marin Cursillo, Redwood Empire Cursillo, SF/San Mateo Cursillo, East Bay Cursillo and numerous other churches across the States.  

I’ve shared my songbook, Songs and Creations and I estimate I’ve given away or sold 2 million songbooks (a collection of 1100 songs) with many of the songs I wrote myself. Some of the songs are played on You Tube, like “Abundantly", "Radical Man" and "God Loves You and There is Nothing You Can Do about That." I get very little royalties."

Yohann Anderson is a servant of God in need of our help.

He currently needs to have dental work done for $5000. This will include a set of dentures. This work begins on 8/27/21. 

He is waiting to have both knees replaced. While this surgery will be covered, he will need a place to live during his recovery.

Yohann is currently living in his RV and doing his best to continue serving God and others.  

Yohann is a generous servant who says, "I've got more to do... my work here is not done."
