Support Yohai After Multiple Brain Surgeries

Yohai is a vibrant, loving, and supportive human.

He is an incredibly ambitious and talented musician as well as a loving husband, brother, son, and friend. He also is the most amazing dog dad to his spunky little Luna!

Yohai is a well-known and respected figure in the music scene both in Los Angeles as well as in Israel, where he was born and raised.

He is a touring musician playing with multiple acts and in fact, this is Yohai's main source of income.

He is also happily (and newly) married to Lauren, a Texas native!

In May of 2022, Yohai's whole world changed when a tumor was found at the base of his brain. Multiple specialists and doctor appointments later he underwent a fairly routine craniotomy to remove his tumor on September 19th, 2022. From there, he was expected to make a full recovery within a month, and get back to his normal day-to-day life.

Unfortunately, Since then, his life has been anything but normal.

Yohai suffered multiple severe life-threatening complications and seizures. He has also had two more brain surgeries which resulted in a VP (permanent) shunt being placed in December and then rushed to the hospital again at the end of January after having a seizure to then replace the valve of this shunt only 5 weeks after its installation. Bacterial meningitis played a large role in his complications along with his body trying to reject parts of the initial surgery.

Yohai has also been on high dosages of steroids and antibiotics that have wreaked havoc on his entire body which has now introduced even more complications that require specialists to help him. He is undergoing many different therapies to help rehabilitate himself, but this will be a long road to recovery. To say we poked the bear is an understatement!

During this time, Yohai and his wife have not been able to work and have depleted their savings just trying to stay afloat. We are raising funds to help alleviate some of the financial burdens they have been facing and to help them be secure in moving forward with other life and medical costs.
