Hi, I'm Tanner, the owner of Y2 Yoga. Some of you may or may not know Nate, but he has worked at Y2 since 2016 in one capacity or another. He is mainly known as a handyman. He is the one that fixes things around the studio,
changes the light bulbs that are too high for staff to reach, or installs equipment when it comes in. He is the first
call we make when something breaks, and he is the first one to show up to try to fix it.
He may have even been to your house to help you with your needed projects or repairs.
In class, you probably would recognize him as the guy that stands on one leg trying to balance on a block.
He has been part of our community and invaluable to ensuring that Y2 runs smoothly.
Earlier this week, Nate's house and his car burned down. He was working in his shop, and sparks from his
equipment caused a fire to break out that was too large for him to contain. If you are friends with Nate on
Facebook, then you would see pictures of his projects proudly completed in his home.
Nate has insurance, so his house will be rebuilt, and he will get some compensation for the loss of his car.
But we all know that there is a lot that insurance will not cover.
Forget about the loss of personal items that can never be replaced: old pictures, childhood memorabilia, family heirlooms, etc...
Nate's house still has to be rebuilt, which will take time. He needs a place to stay in the interim, and insurance will not cover that cost. It will not cover 100% of the price to replace the furniture he lost, the clothes he will need to
buy, or the car he will need to continue working to pay his bills.
Maybe you do or do not know who Nate is, but you are part of our community. We are asking for your help to help our yogi in need.
Any amount, small or large, will help.
Thank you for your consideration and support.
Peace
TB
