Yogi tore her cruciate ligament (her knee ligament) and needs surgery. When we first got our dogs, I never imagined id be in a place where I couldn't afford to get them the help they need.

Andrew and I are a single income house right now. I was let go earlier this year. It was out of the blue I've been doing everything to make ends meet. my boyfriend even got a second job. I've been trying to find a job, while care taking for yogi as someone has to be home to let her out.

We have been lucky enough to be able to take her to the vet and get her diagnosed, but now that we know what is wrong, surgery is looking to be upward of 3,000 dollars.

We have to take her for a second opinion/surgery consolation on September 2nd (everywhere is booked out, and this gives us some time to fundraise)

Thankfully we got her on some pain relief for the time being, but with the medicine and appointments bills are already piling up.

She is an amazing dog, she isn't even 1 yet. We just moved onto a piece of property where she can run and play all day. But right now we have to help her up into and out of the house, and she can't play much so she doesn't hurt her other leg. (Which is being strained and at risk because she is a muscular dog.)
