WHAT DO WE DO?
Education for all:
We aim at giving children from all backgrounds a good educational start in life with a holistic approach to education, based on their own ancient traditions.
Our school has a wide range of educational programs serving over 370 children a day, and about 40 of those children live in our 1,000 sq ft building. We teach them everything from Reading, English, and Math, to Sanskrit, Yoga, and Meditation.
Empowering Women and Ending Sexism in India:
We aim to protect the integrity of Indian Tradition while also breaking stereotypes such as women being underestimated in India, which is totally opposite to traditional Indian Culture.
In Indian Culture women and the feminine are revered and respected, and Indian History has a large list of feminine great figures. Going back to Indian roots is the best way to re-empower women in India, giving them back the place they used to have in culture and in society.
We want to build a place where we can teach future great female scholars and debaters, as well as warrior-protectors of female worth and greatness. Warriors who will win their fight with the weapons of knowledge and excellence.
Employing Parents and Women:
The more parents we employ, the least children need to help in the fields, so they are free to get education from a young age.
The more employment, the more children we have free to go to school.
This includes employing the mothers, and 75% of our staff are women.

WHAT IS OUR VISION FOR THE NEW LAND?
Our outreach is limited as we are currently operating out of a 1,000 sq ft. building.
Our vision is to use this new land (which is over 7 acres of the most sacred land in India, right on the bank of the Ganges River) to build a school/yoga center, so we may expand our programs and help more people of all ages, genders, backgrounds, and classes.
We want to keeping the complex as simple and traditional as possible, while working with the local community.
All the aspects of the project will complement each other.
The new center will include:
- The Sanskrit Gurukul: Taking in students from anywhere in the country each year, and teach them for a minimum of 5 years.
-Launching our Residential girls project: to aid young girls in need of our help
- School for local children: We will start with the first lower kindergarten and upper kindergarten classes and keep adding the next class until we eventually teach the complete secondary school. We will also be able to immediately apply for government registration for our existing nursery and primary school.
- Our Project for senior citizens: Here we would like them to give them facilities and the opportunities to pass their knowledge on to our children, so we may help people realize thier value.
- We want to start an on-site Natural Hospital at the center.
- Yoga and meditation camps and retreats: We want to build a space where people from all around the country and overseas can come and stay to learn. We will also organize workshops on vegetarian cooking, Sanskrit Camps, building workshops etc. That means YOU can come visit us and participate in these retreats!
- Organic farming. We will restore the land as needed and plant fields free of all chemicals. They will be planted, kept, harvested and processed in the traditional ways, which will create local jobs.
-Women's empowerment project. We will train local women in making products based on their traditional skills and then sell these products to help finance the project. The women will receive a salary and again, their children will be free to get proper education.
-Employing Parents. By keeping and promoting a way of life as simple and traditional as possible, we will be able to employ as many local parents as possible in the daily running of the project. This will serve a double purpose, as at the moment children labor is the major cause for school drop-outs in the district. Traditional building and farming, keeping machinery to a minimum will support this objective.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?
$50,000 minimum goal to cover deposit by feb 6th to secure the land
An additional $770,000 will be needed in the next year to pay of the land, plus building costs
Every penny helps and your money goes a long way in India! Thank you for helping making our vision a reality, this project will be life changing for countless women and children.
