Yoga of War Podcast: Defending Israel &Fighting Antisemitism

Donation protected
I am writing this on October 7, 2024, the anniversary of the darkest day in Jewish history since the Holocaust.

Like so many others around the world, something in my soul broke that day and is still struggling to heal.

The combination of the atrocities themselves and the atrocious reaction of the world--which has horrifyingly descended into the deepest depths of antisemitism, once again--has been impossible to process or accurately articulate.

The last year has felt like shouting into an abyss. A moral vacuum in which people can no longer see or hear the truth.

That's why, in July (2024), I launched a YouTube Podcast, The Yoga of War (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEk7dn2pk4QXmLMnBCB80yQXIIcBDYsi0).

As a social media influencer in the far left yoga space, I have used my platform to fill a void and educate an uninformed or misinformed community about Israel’s just war against Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran & all its terror proxies, and the deeply troubling state of antisemitism today.

Some of the world's most influential voices in this fight for Israel, for the Jewish community, for morality, and, in fact, for Western Civilization, have come on the show to share their wisdom and insight.

This podcast has been a labor of love and a paean to my people, as I have all but sacrificed my professional career to defend what I know is right. To defend Israel and the Jewish people.

If you feel like you have no voice in this global conversation , I am speaking for you beyond the echo chamber. And I am speaking loudly.

As of today, I have been blessed with an incredible slate of such prominent guests as (in order of appearance):

John Spencer on Military Morality
Natasha Hausdorff on International & Social Justice
Noam Dworman on Objective Advocacy
Rabbi David Wolpe on Next Gen Antisemitism
Shai Davidai on Jewish Civil Rights
Coleman Hughes on Intersectionality & Antisemitism
David Bernstein on Woke Antisemitism
Andrew Fox on The IDF & War Crimes
Simcha Greiniman on ZAKA’s 10/7 Search & Rescue
Shabbos Kestenbaum on Title VI & Campus Antisemitism

And many more illustrious names to come.

The feedback from my guests has been extraordinary, as the informal, conversational format allows for profound, intelligent and relatable discourse.

In deference to my guests’ invaluable time, I do about 40 hours of preparation for each episode. My commitment is to ensure provocative content and unique questions that they are not hearing on repeat in a slew of other interviews. As a result, they are able to turn off their autopilot, stay very present, and really give particularly insightful and thoughtful responses.

That being said, what the show lacks in production value, it makes up for 100x over in content. Would the Yoga of War Podcast be enhanced by better audio and video? Definitely. Still, overall, viewers tell me they appreciate the authenticity of a simple heart-to-heart conversation, where they feel like they are sitting at the table with us instead of behind a screen.

This podcast has been the most meaningful project of my life and to be perfectly honest, I have lost many of my students in the past year due to my prominent pro-Israel advocacy. As such, in an effort to increase the visibility of my podcast and to reach a broader swath of my far left and inherently anti-Israel audience, I am currently looking for benefactors for the show.

My goal is to secure an adequate budget to:

1. Hire a video & sound editor
2. Invest in professional podcasting equipment
3. Amplify distribution

In addition, I am hoping to find a benefactor or foundation to underwrite the show and all the work--and soul--that I put into it.

I know that, right now, many of us are watching every dollar and choosing which Israeli or Jewish organization to send it to. If you even have $18 to give, it would be deeply appreciated.

And we all know someone for whom finances are not an issue at all. Please share this campaign with your networks and help to get the pro-Israel, Jewish voice heard loudly and proudly around the world.

Thank you!

And Am Yisrael Chai!

Shana

Though I am best known in this world as a yoga instructor, my greatest passion is Israel. I am a longtime member of the World Jewish Congress’s Jewish Diplomatic Corps, sit on the National Women's Board for State of Israel Bonds, am an active AIPAC club member, and have been on the ADL and StandWithUs Speakers’ Bureaus, to name a few of my affiliations. My path to advocacy for the Jewish people and the State of Israel is not one of formal education or training, but of a visceral love and undying connection to her history, heritage, and soul’s homeland. As an influencer in the yoga field, I use my social media extensively as a powerful platform to inform the uninformed and misinformed about Israel and antisemitism.
