Evan Yoder, is a hard working 23 year old. He worked on his family farm in a small town in Huntingdon, Pa. He recently graduated from Pennsylvania State University in Animal Science. On July 25, 2015 he was spending time with family at Greenwood Park and the accident happened.No one really knows what exactly happened or how long he was under the water for but he was found unconscious. By the grace of God, bystanders got him out and he was flown out to Pittsburgh Hospital. As of now he can not breathe on his own, his spinal cord is severely damaged, and has no movement from his shoulders down. Evan had 2 of his vertebra fused today and that went well. All we can hope and pray for now is that he will continue to be strong and power through his recovery and his up coming surgeries. His family has pulled together to cover the farm work so that his mother and father can be with him. Pittsburgh is about a 3 hour drive from the family farm. With his family being out there I am asking for people to come together to help pay for some of the small expenses for his family at this time. Medical bills alone are enough but we all know hotels, food, and gas don't come cheap anymore, and a little money goes a long way. I know Evan and his family would do anything for others, and its time to give to them in their time of need. Thank you so much! Stay Strong Evan!
