In the early hours of Thursday morning our family cat Yoda got out of the house and was hit by a speeding vehicle out front of our house. Yoda had to spend the day in the animal hospital to receive sedation, pain killers, x-rays and injections.

Yoda luckily survived the direct impact of the vehicle hitting his head but ended up with a fractured tooth split down the middle and into his gums, which will result in him needing to get this tooth extracted, more x-rays, and another day spent in hospital and hopefully avoid an abscess. After already having to put out almost $600 for his first visit, this will be very difficult for our family to afford.
