Our beloved Yoda — our silly, loving, gentle boy — was run over by a pickup truck today. The woman who hit him dragged him before stopping, and the injuries he suffered were catastrophic.
Yoda is now fighting for his life in the veterinary ICU, where he’ll be monitored around the clock through the weekend. He’s in critical condition, but he’s showing us that same strength and determination that’s always made him so special. We’re praying with everything we have that he makes it through.
If he survives — and we are holding on to every ounce of hope — Yoda will need his front leg amputated. The damage is too severe, with most of his ligaments torn beyond repair. It’s heartbreaking to even imagine, but we know our brave boy can still live a full and happy life on three legs.
Unfortunately, Yoda doesn’t have pet insurance, and his medical bills are already overwhelming — from emergency care, ICU stay, and pain management, to surgery and recovery. We would do absolutely anything for him, but we can’t do it alone.
If you’re able to contribute, no matter how small, it would mean the world to us. Every donation goes directly toward giving Yoda the care he needs to survive and heal. And if you can’t donate, please share his story and keep him in your prayers.
Yoda is more than just our dog — he’s family. He’s been our loyal companion, our little shadow, our comfort on the hardest days. Right now, we just want to bring him home again — to give him the chance to keep living the happy, love-filled life he deserves.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, prayers, and support.
