Yoda died and I was diagnosed with cancer.

I am currently living my worst nightmare! Everyone who knows about Lily and Yoda’s Funny Farm is in love with them. Well, I have the worst ending to our story.
Over a month ago I woke up to Yoda having died in his bed. There was no signs of any problems, he just died!
The next night our beautiful cat died without showing any symptoms.
Two days after that I went to the emergency room because I lost use of my right side of my body. I was diagnosed with having brain and lung cancer!
I have been in two different hospitals for treatment this entire time. I do not have insurance since my husband past away in 2021.
I am so lucky that my Daughter and my Son have been here to take care of our animals and our ranch.
I am still very sick and continue to be medically treated at home. It will take time before I will be strong enough again to take care of my beautiful Lily.
So, this is why you haven’t seen me post anything from Lily and Yoda’s Funny Farm. I am just devastated about Yoda dying! There were no signs of any illness. Just like I had no signs about me having cancer!
All I know is that I am going to need help to get through this. It is really helpful to me when I get to talk to people that are going through the same thing that I am.
When this first started I couldn’t even text or talk to anyone. The cancer was messing with the use of my brain and hands. Things are getting a little better everyday.
With me not having insurance I felt the need to use Go Fund Me to help me raise money to pay for my medical care.
I also want to be able to talk to people to see if they are going through what I am going through. I have many people who are here taking care of me but I feel scared and lonely about everything I am going through.
