Hi, I'm Brookelyn! I'm an 18 year old pop/R&B artist from Simi Valley, CA. I started singing in my church choir at Spirit & Life and was the youngest member. I've been pursuing my music career for 3 years now, the first 2 years being in a girl group called Gifted Nations. I got the place in the group solely through the blessings of God, who I would pray to every night to just give me a chance in the industry. The manager of the group was looking for a Latin singer for the group and overheard my parents talking next to her in a diner about possible ways to get me into the music industry. When the manager heard this, she asked to meet me and this was the beginning. While with the group, we worked EJ Jones, an A&R of Atlantic Records, for some time. Once the group decided to pursue individual careers, I was left back where I started. I reached out to several people who I thought could help me get back on my feet, but I was not given the time of day by anyone except EJ , who had recently started a new music group called Track Martians. God works in mysterious ways because when I thought everything was going wrong, God was really walking me along a path that I could not see. I've spent this past year as a solo artist signed to the Track Martians Music Group. My first project with them was a cover of Jill Scott's "Gettin' In the Way." This was in my senior year of high school, so I was working 2 jobs, maintaining a 4.0 GPA, and working on building my solo career. Now I have graduated high school and want to put everything that's in me into my artistry. The only thing is that I'm a full-time college student and I'm still working to finance my music. I just released my first single as a solo artist called "Gemini" and will be releasing the music video shortly. Now is the time in which I need more support than what my family and I are able to afford (and I do not want to continue to put this financial burden on my parents.) I am asking for my supporters and anyone who wants to see me succeed to donate whatever they can to help me get my music heard nation wide. Radio promotion and such can be very costly, but God has never forsaken me and he will provide a way. It does not matter if it's $1 or $100, because even $1 that you support me. I have a dream in which I can share music that touches people's spirits worldwide and I cannot do it without the support of my family & friends. My promise to you is that it will not be in vein and I am forever grateful. I love each and every one of you!
