Who are, who are, who are we?

We are Ynysowen RFC.

Please, help us make memories...

May 2025 the children of Ynysowen RFC (under 7s, 8s, & 9s)

are going on tour to Trecco Bay, Porthcawl.

For the majority this will be their first ever rugby tour!

So we would like to make it extra special for them.

Our aim,

Through fundraising, we would like to provide every child on the touring teams with new Ynysowen RFC apparel, especially for tour.

Why is this important?

A team / club having matching kits or apparel;

• Creates a culture of belonging, loyalty, and shared purpose.

• It’s a symbol of commitment to the team and a reminder that it’s is a collective effort.

• It’s a visual statement of unity, boosts morale, and creates a sense of pride.

Secondly,

Whilst on tour, we would like parents to be alleviated, from the strain and pressure of affordability and fear their child / children missing out.

How can you help?

You can help us to raise enough funds to ensure no child goes without.

Any amount, no matter how big or small will be massively appreciated!

What we believe..

We believe these children are a huge credit to our club and community.

They deserve to feel part of something special and know how proud of them we all are.

What will we be doing..

We will be partaking in three fundraising events over the next few months, consisting of;

• A sponsored walk

• Litter picking throughout Troedyrhiw & Aberfan

• A rugby marathon on our own turf @ The Willows
