With a broken heart combined with almost 4 million broken hearts I ask for your generosity to listen to me. Nearly every day, the snowball effect of Lebanon's economic and political meltdowns bring heartbreaking conflicts adding to an impossible reality to live in.
For many of those scavenging for goods in Lebanon, poverty is a new, and bitter, experience. Political leaders in Lebanon have left the Lebanese people with a reality highlighting poverty, famine, inflation, unemployment and high rates of suicide.
Earlier this year, the World Bank projected that at least 50% of the country would become poor "It feels like you're waiting for the end of the world, with people eating out of garbage cans a hopeless Lebanese cries out.
This GofundMe fundraiser is asking every Lebanese living abroad and every person with a heart to donate in hopes of raising money to feed the starving and hopeless people of Lebanon. For some suicide is the only way out, but we can change that.
Please help me stand with my people, they deserve the world and more. Please help me give back to my beautiful country. A country that is burning down, a country that has been crying out for help for many years.
