Michael Fox Cross Linking Surgery

Hi I am Laurie Fox, mother of Michael Fox. My son was diagonsed with Keratoconus and Ectasia. It is a genetic disease of the eyes. Michael needs a procedure, Cornea Cross Linking, which is not covered by insurance. It also is not FDA approved in the United States. Michael will need surgery on both eyes, the left eye is needing immediate attention. The right eye will also need it further down the road. Monies raised will pay for the surgery and to hopefully reduce the progression of this disease and help prevent blindness. The surgery on his severe eye, is scheduled for the middle of January 2016. The Mile High Eye Institute is doing the procedure and is requiring the funds in advance. This amount will cover treatment (for first eye only) for 12 months & all follow up appointments. Any and all money donated, will be payable to The Mile High Eye Institute and must be paid in ADVANCE before the surgery can be done, so time is of the essence and somewhat urgent. If WE EXCEED OUR GOAL that money will be put towards the second eye surgery.
