My dad started his fight to beat Colon Cancer (Stage IV) on April 15, 2013. The doctors said, he only had 6months to live. He proved them wrong! Despite the challanges we faced (distance, finances, medical needs), dad was able to recieve 6 months of chemotherapy and a colostomy surgery with the help of our successful Lumpia Fundraiser!(A big thank you for those who for those who supported us). He responded well to the treatments, and was generally 'healthy."As the years went by, his condition worsened, and on March 14, 2016 at 11:35am, he passed away.
Dad spent the last 3 months in & out of the hospital fighting for his life. Fortunately, my sister Stephanie and I were able to pay him a visit before his passing, and spend some family time (even though it was mostly from his bedroom at home, or the hospital room).
We are respectfully asking for contribtions toward the medical and funeral costs. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
As much as it hurts deep inside that you are gone, we are relieved that you are no longer worrying, in pain, or suffering. We will miss you, but you will never be forgotten.
