Volunteering in Huancayo, Peru

Hi there! For those of you who do not know, my name is Brittney Blazich and I am currently a Junior at Cardinal Stritch University persuing a Biology major and Chemistry minor. I hope to further attend school to fulfill my dream of being a Physician Assistant and helping others.  In preparation for this and to gain some experience, I teamed up with Danielle Damask and we will be travelling to Huancayo Peru through FIMRC Missions (Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children) from December 20th-December 30th. Here we will be working alongside doctors, dentists and teachers going on hospital rounds, observing surgeries and births, learning sutures, educating youth on health topics, and much more to improve health in the community. 

However, volunteering has his pricetag associated with it. Although I am working two jobs during the summer, that income goes towards rent and my tuition so I am looking for a little help to get me to Peru! Any little bit helps a lot!

Also, I will be sharing my adventure with all of you for you to read about and see the experience I have gained.
