Save DNA's Comedy Lab

We were a comedy club in Santa Cruz, California from 2019-20. We had 288 performances in our first year, and during the  week of our one-year anniversary, things went sideways.  Long story short, the owner of the building sold it out from under us. From that point on, I have scrambled to create weekly opportunities for people to laugh, comics to perfect their craft and to build community amongst comedy fans. 

Over the last 2 years since we were forced to close,  I've produced 200 Zoom comedy shows, several comedy festivals, outdoor shows, indoor shows and at our home at Greater Purpose Brewery, we just passed our one-year anniversary of Friday and Saturday shows. 

We always pay the comics more than anyone else, and that means, we don't earn much as a business.  If you would like to get involved as a sponsor or contributor or want to throw some cash our way, you can help us rebuild our brand in Santa Cruz and bring laughter to the people.  I'm trying to figure out how to bring the 9th Annual Santa Cruz Comedy Festival to life, but we need an angel-investor. Are you them?
