Greetings Friends, Family and Well-wishers!
The specific purpose of my fundraiser has changed. If you review my updates you will be able to read about my original purpose and changes that took place over the last couple months creating the shift.
Due to my very poor health over the last few months I incurred nearly $10K in medical debt; this is after a 50% discount had been applied. In addition, my income went to zero and continues to be at zero dollars in order for me to qualify for Medicaid and get treatment.
I am feeling much better and have started applying for jobs to generate some income until my season starts in the spring and I can reopen my business. Unfortunately, in order to maintain Medicaid eligibility I can only earn a limited amount of money.
I am at risk of losing my truck which is a necessity to operate my business. Additionally, I am currently unable to meet other regular monthly financial demands.
I am asking for donations to put toward my living expenses until I find a job and for money to pay toward the large medical debt I've acquired.
I am currently waiting on one more test which will determine if I need my gallbladder removed. It is critical that I keep my income low to keep Medicaid until this is complete; especially if I need surgery. I am sincerely hoping I can get support to keep me afloat and possibly pay down some medical debt until this testing is complete and, if needed, surgery is done. After that I should be able to manage my ongoing care and medications once my season picks up again.
