Hi, my name is Kenneisha and I am trying to raise funds for my oldest son Jalen. His school recently announced they are taking an eighth-grade trip to Washington DC with only six weeks of advance notice. They are not offering organized fundraising and the travel agency has minimal financial aid available.

Jalen was diagnosed with autism at the age of two and has overcome many obstacles in his life. He will begin his eighth-grade year this fall and is very excited about the possibility of going to Washington D.C. He loves history and geography and we know that he would be incredibly enriched by this experience.

As a special reward, Jalen has pledged to create a comic book complete with illustrations about his trip to Washington D.C. Following his return, we will have it printed and sent out to anyone who donates and requests a copy in the donation notes.
