We, team 1764B, are a group of six seniors from Yarmouth High School looking for funding to attend the VEX Robotics World Championship in Louisville, Kentucky on April 24, 2019. VEX is a robotics program that creates competitions and learning experiences for students. It incorporates programming, engineering, and teamwork, and has allowed us to continue our passion for STEM outside of the classroom while also having fun competing against our fellow high schools. As a team, we have become very close friends from working together these past four years, and robotics is now an important part of our lives. After months of hard work, we have earned an opportunity to attend the World Championship because of our performance in the Maine States competition this past February. Being able to attend this major competition would give us an opportunity to meet other teams around the world who also share this passion for STEM, and it would be the perfect culmination of our four years of hard work getting to this point. Please help us raise money for travel, hotel, and remote transportation expenses. Any amount helps!
