Hello, my name is Otilia. I was born in Honduras and I am currently a Neurosurgery resident in Spain. I will become a neurosurgeon next year.

I have been offered a great opportunity to improve my training as a fellow in a Neuro lab at Stanford, wich main theme is: From the Lab to the OR. Unfortunately, it is self-funded.

I am very excited about this opportunity—it will help me grow as a professional and become a better healthcare provider for those who need me.

My specialty is complex, and we never stop learning. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been invited to Stanford for a research fellowship.

I hope to have the support of this platform. The funds I receive will be used to cover my living expenses, including housing, food, and transportation during my 6 months fellowship at Stanford, California, starting in august 2026.
