My brother Evan Cockerham, 21, went missing on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022. He was last seen at the Malaga Cove Library in Los Angeles, making his last phone call home.

He called and said a man looking for a dog carjacked and kidnapped him. Evan escaped when he had the chance and went to the nearest place (the library) to make the call. He has not been seen or heard of since.

I cannot sit around Omaha knowing that my brother is in danger, it's eating me alive, so I'm driving to California to look for him and meet with police officials and do anything I can to spread the word and help bring him to safety. This GoFundMe will help cover expenses in searching for him for the next few weeks.

He is without a cell phone, no wallet, no money and possibly still in danger.
