Hello.  My name is Alexander and my family and I have been struggling financially for the last year.  In August 2019 we lost our apartment due to job loss months before, accumulated debt due to no income, and poor living conditions at the complex we were in.  We moved into our car and started doing deliveries to pay for gas and what little food and diapers we could afford.

In October the same year I was lucky to find full time employment but we were unable to get assistance with finding somewhere to rent due to the system being full.  After searching and working full time as well as using our car to take deliveries, covid quarantine happened and all avenues to finding a rental were closed.  We finally found somewhere to live without a credit check in June of this year.

Even though we now have housing, we’re struggling daily to fight with debt and paying bills, let alone having money left for food.  Covid has also caused my main place of work to cut back hours and delay pay increases.  Our car that I use for half of our income is breaking down and in need of repairs we can’t afford.  We do not qualify for assistance in our area and all of the rental programs are full.  On top of this, the apps that I do deliveries for are getting less customers overall so our income has gone down significantly.

Anything at all would help at this point.  I hate to have to ask for help at all, but anything is appreciated.  I don’t want my family to have to go back to living in our car, but I’m not sure what to do at this point.

Any money donated will help us fix up our car so that it’s in safe working condition for me to continue doing deliveries.  It will also help with our living expenses such as catching up on rent and overwhelming debt.  Thank you in advance to anyone who donates.
