serious bone infection in his ankle, Scott underwent surgery and spent weeks hospitalized,

fighting to recover.

Scott's Story

As a lifelong member of our New Boston, Texas, community, Scott has always been someone

you could count on. Now, as a single father working hard to provide for his family, he's

encountered a challenge that no one should face alone.

The bone infection required immediate surgical intervention, followed by an extended hospital

stay. While Scott is now home and on the road to recovery, his journey is far from over. He faces

weekly medical appointments and ongoing treatment—all while being unable to work and

without health insurance coverage.
