Update: Thank you all so much for your incredibly generous donations. The love and support we have been receiving for Natalie is astounding and we are incredibly grateful. We have surpassed the goal we set to help fund Natalie’s services. All further donations will be put into a well monitored trust fund for her daughter, Ava. This will be money that Ava will have access to later in her life to help her and support her. We know no amount of money can replace her mother but these donations are paramount to her future. Again thank you all so much for being there for her and Ava.

On March 21st the unthinkable happened - we lost one of the brightest, kindest, and most welcoming women to walk this planet. She was an amazing mother, a fierce sister, a loving daughter, and the most incredible friend that anyone could ask for. Natalie Henriquez was brave by nature. She was a good person; one of the few true and kind people left in this world. She loved harder than anyone I've ever known. And it didn't matter who you were because if she cared about you, she would protect you with the ferocity of a mother lion.
For those that knew her, know she did not go in vain, nor alone. She had an undeniable belief in reincarnation and said she wanted to come back as a butterfly - beautiful and free.
Unfortunately, no one saw this coming. We didn't have time to prepare for her passing in the way she deserves. Her time on this earth was too short, but that doesn't mean we can't honor her for the way she would want to be remembered. By using gofundme, we are giving everyone who loved and cared for Natalie the opportunity to donate to her cremation, her services, and most importantly, the beginnings to a future fund for the amazing daughter she brought into this world, Ava.
Fortunately, before her passing she was able to have many deep conversations about what she thought death was like and what she wanted when she passed. These meaningful conversations are now allowing us to honor Natalie’s wishes. On June 19th, Natalie's birthday, we will be planting one of many trees (intertwined with her ashes) on a piece of conservation land and hosting a celebration of life for her. More details to come, but in the meantime, any donation helps so we can provide the ceremony she deserves.
