We are BWB and this Christmas our U11, U12 and U13 squads are swapping football boots for hiking boots! ⚽️

On Sunday 21st December, the players are taking on an epic team hike in the Brecon Beacons, tackling the Pen y Fan and Corn Du loop. It is about 6 miles with around 2,650 ft of climbing and should take about 4 hours at a steady, safe pace with plenty of fun breaks along the way. ️❄️

This challenge is about much more than getting to the top. It is all about resilience, discipline, teamwork and confidence away from the pitch. The players will be cheering each other on, battling tired legs and chilly weather, and sharing that amazing feeling of achievement when they finish together to end 2025 on a high.

Parents are welcome to join the adventure and our coaches will supervise throughout. We will walk at a pace that keeps everyone safe, included and smiling.

To build ownership and pride, each player is being encouraged to raise their own contribution towards team funds. It is not about who raises the most. It is about responsibility, commitment and showing they are willing to put in effort off the pitch to help their team.

Every pound raised will go straight back into supporting our BWB teams, from new training equipment and tournament or league fees to winter training facilities and making sure every player has the best possible environment to enjoy and develop in football. ⚽️⭐
