Yogi is only 5 years old—still full of life, joy, and that goofy happiness only dogs seem to have. He loves people, loves being part of everything, and until recently, he loved running, walking, and just being a dog.
In a heartbreaking turn of events, Yogi has ruptured both of his back knees. He can no longer walk on his own without assistance. Every trip outside, every bathroom break, every moment of movement requires us physically lifting and supporting his 90-pound body. We are doing everything we can—but watching him struggle has been devastating.
Our veterinarian has given us two options:
• Bilateral knee surgery to give Yogi a chance at a full, happy life
• Or euthanasia, due to the severe impact on his quality of life without surgery
The surgery Yogi needs costs $13,000 total ($6,500 per knee)—an overwhelming amount that we were never prepared for. We are heartbroken that finances could determine the future of a dog who still has so much life, love, and joy to give.
Yogi doesn’t understand why his body isn’t working the way it used to. He still wags his tail. He still tries. He still looks at us with complete trust—believing we’ll help him.
And we are trying.
We are asking for help so we can give Yogi the chance he deserves:
✨ the chance to walk again
✨ the chance to run, play, and live without pain
✨ the chance to grow old surrounded by love
Every donation—no matter the size—goes directly toward Yogi’s surgeries, rehabilitation, and recovery. If you’re unable to donate, sharing Yogi’s story means the world to us.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us fight for our sweet boy.
Yogi has so much life left to live—and with your help, we’re hoping he can.
