In Memory of Liping Gao

Liping Gao was a beloved father, son, uncle, and friend who passed away unexpectedly on April 11. Our family is devastated by the sudden loss of such a great and kind man, and we are doing our best to honour him in the way that he deserves.
In trying times like this, we know and greatly appreciate the number of people who have reached out to offer support. As none of Liping’s immediate family live in Calgary, we are touched by the outreach of the community here who have attempted to ease the pain.
We set up this GoFundMe primarily to help in the traveling expenses of family members and friends who are making the trip from outside of the city. Any overage will be used to support my grandparents in China, who are unable to attend the funeral.
The memorial service will be held on April 14, at Evan J. Strong funeral services at 5502 2nd St Southwest, Calgary, Alberta at 11 AM.
