We are raising money in loving memory of George, our much-loved family member and boyfriend, who was just 23 years old.

This fundraiser is to support George’s memorial, but it is also about giving back in his name — because that is exactly the kind of person he was. George was courageous, kind, and selfless. He raised money for charity himself and cared deeply about helping others.

The news of George’s passing has sent shockwaves through so many lives. The outpouring of love, messages, and support we have received shows just how deeply he was valued and how many people he touched. George made a lasting impression as a family member, a partner, a friend, and a colleague. His loss is felt far beyond our immediate family — by friends, workmates, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. The pain of losing George has affected countless lives, and the space he leaves behind can never truly be filled.

George loved being outdoors and took real pride in being at work. He had a strong work ethic, a generous heart, and a way of making people feel comfortable and valued. He touched the lives of many and will always be remembered for his warmth and strength.

In George’s name, and in honour of the last charitable event he took part in, we will be climbing Mount Snowdon. This climb is our way of continuing his legacy, celebrating his love for the outdoors, and honouring the generosity and spirit he showed throughout his life.
