In April of 2025, I was invited to join a small team of operators from the Western Washington DX Club on their DXpedition to Manihiki Atoll in the North Cook Islands. The last few months have been full of planning, organizing, and logistics, and now we are going live to announce the activation!

Our team of 6, including two female operators, will be active as E51MWA October 9-20, 2025. We will be using SSB, CW, and FT8. Robin, WA7CPA, and myself, KN2P, will be paired together on the operating schedule for a fantastic team of YLs!

Although I have traveled internationally for contesting several times before, this will be my first DXpedition. As a 21-year old youth operator I cannot fund this experience on my own. I need financial support from the community of hams interested in the future of the hobby! I am fundraising to cover my personal transportation, food and lodging costs and other necessary costs that are the responsibility of each team member.
