my husband Russ pulled up next to this car in a parking lot right in our backyard last week and discovered a man and his wife homeless and living in this car. He gave them money and saw them again yesterday and gave them a gift card and began a conversation with Connor who said they’ve been homeless since February. He is working two jobs and his wife is interviewing. They are trying to get back on their feet! THIS IS NOT A SCAM! Our neighborhood has come to their rescue with gift cards, cash and food. We want to provide a rent deposit and maybe enough for 3-6 months of rent so they can truly get back on their feet.
