Help Baby Colton/Family Survive

Donation protected
I am the Aunt of Jason and Michelle Stang  who live in Fredericksburg, Va.  Jason and Michelle were expecting their second baby and both  were beyond ecstatic with the news given to them on October 9, 2015. The  delivery date was to be around the end of May 2016. Life was wonderful for the Stangs and as time went on they found out it was a baby boy.
However on February 26, 2016 the lives of my niece and nephew changed forever.  Michelle was rushed into surgery for and emergency C-Section due to an infection in her uterus which caused the baby to go into distress.  He had to be taken ASAP.   Colton Stang was born on February 26, 2016 at 5:38 pm weighing in at 2 lbs with a length of 12 inches.and  was rushed to the NICU where he began the fight for his tiny little life.  At one point the hospital Chaplin was called. But Colton keep fighting.  Then suddendly things changed again, Colton had a brain bleed, a severe one affecting both sides of his brain.  The ventricals in the right side of his brain have not yet closed.  The bleed destroyed tissue on the left side. Now doctors are saying he may have Ceberal Palsy.  Colton kept on fighting. Then another sad turn of events, Colton got an infection in his intestines which put him is severe distress due to the pain the infection caused.  In addition to all that he has gone through, the tubes and machines surrounding him, he needed antiobiotics and pain medication.  You wonder how much more can that tiny little body take. I just cannot imagine. How much more can my nephew and niece endure. The pain, the heart ache, the minute my minute, day by day changes.  The life of their baby fighting for his life . Now just recently they learned Colton has a small hole in his heart which must get fixed ASAP.  This means Colton  must be transported to Children's Hospital in Washington, DC which will take place Monday or Tuesday of this week (week of March 21, 2016) . The goal is to  have the heart surgery by the end of the week.  And at the same time have the fluid in his brain monitored and if the ventricals do not close, he will then require brain surgery.
My niece will have to stay in Washington, DC Children's Hospital if space is available at the Ronald McDonald facility.  And at home they have their 5 year old who has never seen his baby brother and their 14 year old to worry about.  Plus Jason will have to drive back and forth to work in VA when he does leave the hospital.  Then back to the hospital, back to VA to ensure the other children are ok,
The medical expenses for this family are beyond
astronomical. The expense of driving back and forth to Washington, DC, parking in DC, eating in DC,; making sure the children in VA are taken care of is just not manageable.
I would like donations to help my niece and nephew with expenses in DC,  gas for the many trips back and forth and medical expenses for Baby Colton.  No one knows how long Colton will be in Children's hospital after being transported out of Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA.   This family needs financial  help.  Their focus must be on baby Colton and not on how the next gas bill will get paid, the next food bill or medical bill will get paid.
As their Aunt, I have to do something to help them.  I them and Colton on Prayer Lists at my church and churches of my friends.  But I need to do more for them.  They are a wonderful loving family who ask for nothing from life except to have their children healthy and happy.
Won't you please open your hearts for this young family and for Colton so he can get well and grow and be able to see is older brothers Noah 5 and Zach 14.
With heartfelt thanks in advance for any donations given, please know each of you will be in my prayers of thanks.  God Bless you all.
