Not long ago we received some life-altering news...my daddy was diagnosed with cancer. You can imagine how horrifying and traumatic it has been on our family, and not only has it taken its toll on us emotionally, but financially as well. My name is Delana (Lanie) and I'm setting this up on behalf of my parents, Eddie and Glenda, to help them get through this situation with as much ease as possible. Life is hard enough without a medical emergency.

In October 2022 he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, but with surgery they were able to clear that out. But it had already spread to his liver, and he's been doing chemo treatments since late November. Daddy has worked hard at keeping his spirits high and makes a huge effort to be positive and stand in his faith. Although the side effects of the chemo are increasing he still tries to get out in his shop and work on his knives as often as he can.

We are currently awaiting the status of whether or not this chemo solution is working (this is his 2nd) on his liver cancer, and so in the meantime, I'm asking for help to alleviate the financial strain so that they can get through this situation without additional stress. These funds will make such a dramatic difference in helping them with ongoing medical costs (insurance doesn't pay for everything), such as treatments, meds, travel and daily life.
