Hi all, My name is James, recently my good friend and employee Jasen has been diagnosed with stage 4 Oesophageal cancer, this is a massive blow to Jasen and his family, not only is he a good friend but an incredible employee with a great work ethic, Jasen is the type of person who wants to live a relatively normal like and stay positive, as a small business it’s a very challenging situation, Unfortunately Jasen will need to take quite a bit of time off work Jasens enthusiasm for work is unsurpassed and knowing him the last thing he would want is to be stuck at home unable to do anything, this would be detrimental to his mental health and his recovery

Jasen will require a large amount of time off work due to treatment and surgery recovery his sick leave and annual leave will be burnt up very quicky

*edit, Jasen has now moved to casual and as the diagnosis has changed to stage 4 we are moving to raise money to support him best we can due to not being able to work

In brief we are raising money to

*cover lost wages where he is forced out of work due to treatment

*assist financially where we can to give Jasen the opportunity to live a normal life where possible
