Help Penny walk again

I have been quiet about this, as life has been unbelievably stressful and overwhelming since before Christmas, but my sweet Penny somehow injured herself on her nightly Whippet-y run and woke up 2 days before Christmas with her being able put any weight on her back legs at all. After two trips to the vet and x-rays it's been determined she needs surgery on both of her back legs to the tune of $3,200.... PER LEG.
She can't walk at all right now and she has been completely bedridden and depressed. One year to the day, after my first orthopedic surgery myself for my own shattered ankle a year ago.
My Penny has been by my side through the death of her Dad... my beloved Mike, my own Dad, and my beloved Aunt Val, and all the heartaches, traumas and injuries from the past few years.
We both want to get back on our feet again together :) <3
I'm working on sorting out some kind of payment plan for my girl. I have sent out the original estimates for 2nd 3rd and 4th opinions from other vets to see if I can bring the cost down.
I am a single widowed mom of 2 teen boys and many rescued animals. I work 6 days a week at two jobs (Full Time Civil Servant, Part Time Petsmart associate) to make ends meet currently.
Your help with this massive emotional and financial burden is so gratefully appreciated.
