YKR is a transformational storytelling project featuring artists of South Asian and Indo-Caribbean heritage (sometimes referred to as an adaptation of The Vagina Monologues.) YKR  is gearing up to celebrate five years in New York City this summer by creating an experience that will demonstrate our evolution as a project and community.
For many of us YKR has given us our first opportunity to be witnessed by the communities we come from and by the communities who have erased us.
It is a unique experience for artists to bear their humanity through theatrical storytelling.
Our performers are volunteers, but it takes a lot of resources for us to be able to produce the magic that we envision.
Please, consider making a contribution to help us pay for the talents and time of those who are going to help bring this production to life, the amazing non-profit theater space, and the many hours of rehearsal space.
