Fundraiser for Stephen Akins in order to help his family pay for funeral expenses. Stephen Akins was a member of the Georgia National Guard who served his country with honor, integrity, and courage. Stephen endured four combat tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He suffered from PTSD, Depression, Traumatic Brain Injury , and other issues from combat. His selfless service to our country has not been forgotten!
On July 2nd 2015, Stephen's mom found him lying in his bed cold and unresponsive. He was no longer alive. A mother's worst nightmare to say the least. Unfortunately this has created a financial burden for his family. I am asking you with a heavy heart to please help his family with his untimely death. Every dollar counts!
