On Friday, September 5th, the crew of Amtrak train 681 was finishing up their day with a taxi ride from the train station back to the crew base. As they were taking a turn, they were t-boned by a large truck, slamming them into a telephone pole. Everyone in the car suffered some level of injury, with two, Jeremy and Chris, being injured enough that they will be out of work recovering for a while. The railroad is a brotherhood and we take care of each other. Let's come together and help these guys out while they get back on their feet.
