My dad, Francisco (Javier) Ramirez passed away August 12th. He was a very funny, popular & hardworking man but struggled with depression & alcoholism for many years before he became extremely ill in June of this year. He had been bedridden all summer & had a long list of serious health problems but never stopped fighting & was ready to let of alcohol. He had both kidneys removed & various procedures that ultimately only bought him time. As sick as he had been, his death came as a shock but I am grateful for the time we had together while he was in the hospital. I would like to have funeral services especially so that my 16 year old brother, my son, & grandmother can say their final goodbyes. Unfortunately the life insurance I had on him lapsed last year while I was a broke college student & since many family/friends have been wanting help out with funeral costs I went ahead & made this account. No arrangements have been made officially as I am trying to figure out what I can afford but I will keep everyone updated. I appreciate everyone’s support, thoughts, & prayers as I push through these next few days.
