Alex Korenevski Family Fund

Our community at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish in Centerport, NY lost an integral member of our family,  Alex Korenevski, who died on November 30, 2018.  Alex was the Facilities Director at OLQM for over 25 years and touched the lives of so many while diligently performing his daily tasks at the Parish.  Each day his welcoming smile and loving spirit greeted everyone he came in contact with.  His caring spirit and far reaching talents enabled our community at OLQM to come together in worship every day, effortlessly on our part.   Alex's generosity in sharing his talents with the members of the OLQM family both at OLQM and in our needs outside the parish was never ending.   Alex's presence in our lives will be sorely missed.

Alex is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Lara, and his precious daughter, Angelica.  We are raising funds to help defer the family's funeral expenses, costs associated with returning Alex's remains to his home town of Kursk, Russia and to assist with the many expenses now facing the family, including providing for ongoing healthcare and expenses associated with their family home.  All funds will be sent to Lara Korenevski via check after receipt.  Any amount you are able to contribute will be greatly appreciated.
