Hi everyone,

I am creating this page on behalf of my step father, Paul, who is currently battling one of his toughest battles yet.

Just recently, Paul suffered a massive heart attack that required emergency surgery. While we were hopeful that the procedure would allow for a short recovery, unexpected complications have extended his hospital stay.

The stress of the heart attack caused his kidneys to struggle and as a result he was put on dialysis to promote kidney function. In addition to this he was diagnosed with COVID and a blood clot was discovered in one of his legs.

What was initially expected to be a two week recovery has now turned into a much longer recovery with him being out of work for a month or longer.

To us and all that know him, Paul is not just a patient in a hospital bed he is the life of our family and the sole provider of his household. A man who has always worked hard to provide for his family, now needs our help.

Without health insurance the medical bills are piling up and with him being out of work for so long they will struggle to cover monthly expenses. For these reasons we have created this GoFundMe - to ask for help from our community, friends, and family.
