On Sunday, August 2nd, Ashley took her 2 year-old daughter, Adalynn, to the doctor because she wasn't feeling well and was having trouble breathing. After examining her, the doctors sent her to the Emergency Room in Birmingham, AL. By mid-day Monday the doctors determined Adalynn had a very large mass on her right lung and would need emergency surgery to remove the tumor.
The surgery was successfully completed today, August 4th, but her recovery is expected to take 6-8 weeks. Taylor and Ashley will have to stay in Birmingham for 5-6 days, and then make multiple trips from Hendersonville, NC to Birmingham for follow up appointments. All funds raised will help cover medical bills, travel expenses, and any other needs that arise as result of this unexpected event.
