Let me tell you a little bit about Bill Powell. He is a disabled/retired Veteran that has served the US Army. He is a kind caring man that would give you the shirt off of his back. He has opened his home to many people in need as he thrives on helping others. He has a huge heart and is one of the most lovable men you could ever meet! One GREAT BIG TEDDY BEAR MAN! Bill and his family are in need of assistance at this time. On June 25, 2015 Bill woke up with a headache. His wife Patti tried to talk him into going to the hospital but Bill assumed it would go away so he just went to lay down for a few. Patti went to the kitchen to get him a drink and when she returned to him he was uncontrallably shaking and he was unresponsive. 911 took him to Saline Memorial where they discovered he had a Brain Aneurysm so they transported him to St Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock. The specialist there decided surgery was the only option to try to save Bill. On Saturday they decided to fly another specialist in to assist with the surgery. They had to remove a part of his skull due to the swelling of his brain.  At this time Bill continues to receive sedation and paralyzation medicines as every time they try to reduce the sedation medicines the vessels in his brain start spazzing. That needs to get controlled before they can proceed with the next step.
     Bills kids have traveled to be by his side from out of state and Patti has not left his side other then the 2 1/2 hours daily that the Dr's kick her out. The family is in need of some financial assistance at this time. The kids are missing alot of work to stay by his side, and many trips are in their future as this is going to be a very long process during his hospital stay and future recovery process..
